Let's meet at 4th Fahrenheit Science Picnic this Sunday!

Piknik Fahrenheita

Discover the world of science and fun!
Join us on May 25 for the 4th Fahrenheit Science Picnic – a unique event that brings together education and entertainment. Expect a day full of excitement and a wide variety of attractions. Admission is free!

On that day, Góra Gradowa in Gdańsk will turn into a lively center of scientific exploration. Dozens of educational stands will await visitors, offering shows, experiments, workshops, games, and contests. There's something for everyone – no matter your age or interests.

From 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the science stage will host a continuous stream of performances, presentations, and competitions. The program includes a zero-waste fashion show, a rescue operation simulation, a spectacular science show on the history of oceans, a science-themed stand-up comedy about space debris, and a performance by the Gdańsk Academic Orchestra.

Visitors can also explore the Science Village – over 60 tents filled with attractions from various fields, such as:

  • chemistry, biology, and physics experiments,
  • health, dietetics, and first aid zones,
  • technology, robotics, and engineering demos,
  • arts and crafts workshops, quizzes, and educational activities for children.

Thanks to numerous partners, 14 more tents will offer additional activities focusing on ecology, physical activity, energy, and pharmacology.

Special care has been taken to provide attractions for the youngest guests. The dedicated Toddler Zone will offer creative play, music, hands-on activities, and even a live reading of the children’s book Dobre Rady Profesora Główki (Professor Główka’s Good Advice) with artist Jacek Labijak.

The Fahrenheit Science Picnic was initiated by the Fahrenheit Universities and is being held in collaboration with Hevelianum for the fourth time. Together, we create a program that brings science closer to both young explorers and adult participants. We spark curiosity and share our passion, revealing the unexpected side of science.

The event is open to the public and completely free – just show up and dive into the scientific adventure!
