Cooperation between the University of Gdańsk Library and the University of Gdańsk Archives – summary meeting

On 24 November, a meeting was held at the University of Gdańsk Rector's Office to summarise the cooperation between the University of Gdańsk Library and the University of Gdańsk Archives in the field of digitalisation of collections. At the meeting, the Director of the University of Gdańsk Archives, Dr Monika Płuciennik, expressed her gratitude for the commitment, support and excellent cooperation during the implementation of the project.

The meeting was attended by employees of the Digitalisation Department with the Director of the University of Gdańsk Library, Prof. Arnold Kłonczyński, and employees of the University of Gdańsk Archives with the Director of the Archives, Dr Monika Płuciennik.

From September 2022 to November 2025, employees of the Digitalisation Department of the University of Gdańsk Library digitised 972 archival units, which amounts to nearly 285,000 document scans.
